Get off the beaten track and explore some of Ibiza's hidden secrets:
Es Vedra Sunset
Majestically rising out of the Mediterranean Sea just off the southern coast of Ibiza is the mystical island of Es Vedra. The island is actually an extinct volcano and today has become one of the icons of the island.
Es Vedra is usually seen from the Cala D'Hort beach, but the most spectacular views are from the high cliffs above the beach- particularly at sunset. The best position for watching the sunset over Es Vedra is a truly stunning spot and only accessible after a drive down a dirt track and a walk down a dusty path.
Directions:
Follow the road from Casa Alegria towards Es Cubells, and take the turning off towards Cala D'Hort. Follow this road until it takes a sharp right and begins to descend down to Cala D'Hort beach (this turning is marked on the map below). You will now be on a dirt track and you can park immediately or follow it along for as long as your car will take it! Now on foot follow the path straight ahead towards the sea, and soon you will find yourself at a clearing on the edge of the high cliffs with the most fantastic view (also marked on the map below). Enjoy!
WARNING: this site is at the top of very high and dangerous cliffs with no barrier and you go at your own risk!

Atlantis
The location of the legendary site of Atlantis has been a closely guarded secret for years. 1000 years ago rock to build the town of Ibiza was quarried here, and over the years many sculptors have added their own weird & wonderful sculptures.
